Howdy Folks -

Well, it's been quite a year.  Looking back on the year, I realize that I did not publish as many issues of The Record as I had planned, and somehow I managed to mis-number  a couple of the ones I did, but on the whole, I think it is looking pretty good.  This issue is a double issue and we can catch up with the last two matches.  We have more pics from Silver Dollar Swede - be sure to check out the one from the October Halloween shoot (I'm sure I went to school with that Nerd guy!).

I hope everyone enjoyed the November match as much as I did.  Topper had some really inventive and different stages.  Note that NO ONE shot the match clean.  I certainly didn't.  We had 49 shooters and 12 (including me) "died" on the last stage.  How I could miss that big ol' buzzard from that short distance is beyond me, but my first shot went right over his head!    The hostage stage was a challenge, but I just ignored the hostages and concentrated on the targets and managed not to kill any innocent folks.  The Maui Sweep brought out some truly interesting hula moves I did not think were possible.  Several folks also told me they liked the match.  Thanks again to Topper - you really outdid yourself this time.

Thanks again to everyone who came out to help setup and teardown, and of course to the Free Grazers for always-fine chow.

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season (however you choose to celebrate it), and I wish health, wealth, and happiness to you and your families.  Keep your powder dry and I'll see you at the January match!

Happy Trails,
- Fightin' Frank
